Santa Cruz Blur XC

This update of the Blur XC is the best XC race bike yet from Santa Cruz. The first carbon blur resulted in a blend of material science and dual suspension bicycle design that was second to none. This edition is an evolutionary improvement made from incremental gains in carbon structure and tube design. Bottom line is this edition is a little lighter and stronger.

This Blur hasn't lost any of its Santa Cruz DNA in the process. IT climbs amazingly well, responds to out of the saddle efforts and descends with agility thanks to the   supple virtual pivot dual suspension.

The bike shown here is a custom build featuring the latest Shimano XTR 2x 10 drive train and XTR race brakes. It has Fox Float RLC 120mm fork and RP23 shock, DT Swiss 240s hubs and XR 400 rims with Maxxis tires mounted using Stans no tubes system. Pedals are Eggbeater 11s that just happen to be in gold!

This build has no "weight weenie" compromises that could let you down in the middle of the bush or a race yet weighs in a smidge under 10kg.
